A Message from Sister Claudette Harris - May 2006
“Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember;
involve me and I’ll understand.” They say that “April showers bring May flowers,” and along with the blossoming buds of spring, the children’s enthusiasm for the impending summer weather blooms. As the number of balmy afternoons increases, the children’s spirits are lifting as they are able to spend more time enjoying the fresh air outdoors. It brings me such great pleasure to stand at the window and watch the precious youngsters play, running and giggling with each other without a care in the world…their excitement and zest for life becomes absolutely infectious! With so many things going on in our lives today, and each of us getting pulled in so many different directions at once, don’t forget to take time out of your busy schedule to stop and smell the roses. Creating the opportunity to truly appreciate the little things in life really puts everything in perspective, and makes the world seem more like the bright and cheerful place that it is. God love and bless you all, Sister Claudette Harris Back to Top |
